Volleyball registration
PICKENS — Spring volleyball registration will be through Jan. 29 at the Pickens Recreation Center on Sangamo Road in Pickens. Age divisions will be 7-9, 10-12, 13 and 14; and 15-17. The birthday cut-off is Sept. 1, 2015.
Following registration, a skills/evaluation day will be held for each age division. The registration fee provides a jersey to be kept. The fee is $45 for in-city residents and $55 for out-of-city residents. Birth certificates are required at registration.

Soccer registration
PICKENS — Spring soccer registration will be taken through Jan. 29 at the Pickens Recreation Center on Sangamo Road in Pickens.
Co-ed age divisions will be 5 & 6, 7 & 8, 9 & 10 and 11 & 12. Depending on size of leagues, the 9 & 10 and 11 & 12 divisions may have to be combined.

Baseball/softball registration
PICKENS – Baseball and softball registration will be taken through Feb. 19 at the Pickens Recreation Center on Sangamo Road in Pickens.
Divisions will include Instructional coed, age 4; Tee Ball/Coaches Pitch (coed), ages 5 and 6; and Pitching Machine (coed), ages 7 and 8.
Boys’ baseball will include Minors (ages 9-10), O-Zone (ages 11-12), Boys (ages 13-14) and Majors (ages 15-019).
Girls’ softball will include Darlings (ages 7-8), Angels (ages 9-10), Ponytails (ages 11-12) and Belles (ages 13-15).

For Tee Ball, Pitching Machine and Baseball, league age is that age attained by the participant prior to May 1, 2016. Birth date for girls’ softball is the age as of Dec. 31, 2015. Birth certificates are required at registration.

Basketball Bible Camp
PELZER — Grace Baptist Church, 8841 Augusta Road in Pelzer, holds a free Basketball Bible Camp from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. each Saturday through March 26 for students in grades one through six.
Participants will be taught basic techniques including agility, dribbling, shooting, passing, and team building skills. Participants will also be taught character-building truths from the Bible.
Weekly scrimmages will be held and a final tournament will be held March 26. Every child will receive a T-shirt.
