CLEMSON — The Clemson University Young Alumni Council has recognized the 2015 Roaring 10, young alumni who have made an impact in business, leadership, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors.

Honorees were selected based on their continued efforts to uphold the university’s core values of honesty, integrity and respect and to demonstrate an “ever-loyal” relationship with Clemson University.

This year’s honorees are:

Brian Collie of Mount Pleasant, Class of 2004

Collie received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Clemson (2006), his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and his Master of Law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. Collie now leads tax, estate planning and real estate practice for Buxton and Collie LLC. He is involved with the Clemson Emerging Scholars Program and served as a member of the Clemson University MBA Alumni Council.

Darris Means of Athens, Ga., Class of 2007

Means is an assistant professor at the University of Georgia in the counseling and human development services department and college student affairs administration program. He has received numerous awards, including Clemson University’s Outstanding Alumni for the Master of Education/Student Affairs Program award. He serves Clemson on the Higher Education and Student Affairs External Education Advisory Board.

Harrison Trammell of Charleston, Class of 2006

Trammell, a 2006 civil engineering graduate, is an associate at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP. He has the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) AP credential and is a member of South Carolina’s chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. He participated in the Clemson Alumni Council from 2012 to 2014, serving as president of Clemson Young Alumni Council in 2013.

Jessica Barron Martin of Charleston, Class of 2007

Martin received both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree (2009) at Clemson. In addition to working at Wells Fargo, she formerly served as co-chair of the Wells Fargo Lowcountry Volunteer Chapter, was president of the Greater Orlando Clemson Club, participates in Clemson’s Real Estate Alumni Society and currently is president of Clemson in the Lowcountry.

Capt. Joseph Branch III of Alexandria, Va., Class of 2005

Branch has been deployed eight times since graduating from Clemson in 2005. His outstanding performance in the U.S. Army Special Operations command led to his selection as an Army Inter-Agency Fellowship with the National Geospacial Agency. He continues to support Clemson’s ROTC program and Tiger athletics.

Matthew Bundrick of Clemson, Class of 2007

Bundrick currently serves as Clemson Creative Services’ director of Web Services. In addition to playing a critical role in the development of Clemson’s websites, he has been highly involved with the Staff Senate since 2010, serving as president from 2014-2015.

Matthew Pencek of Washington, D.C., Class of 2010

Pencek graduated with the No. 1 rank from the Calhoun Honors College in 2010 with a 4.0 GPA in accounting. He is now MorganFranklin Consulting’s lead field representative and has been recognized as a “Top Consultant Under 35” by trade associations. He is a College of Business and Behavioral Science Tiger Ties mentor and is involved with the Baltimore/DC Clemson club.

Rick Joye of Greenville, Class of 1997

Joye received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Clemson. He is an executive at Michelin North America and a supply chain manager for 10 Michelin manufacturing plants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He also founded Sustaining Way, a nonprofit focused on proliferating sustainable practices to those who need them most in the community.

Scott Sampson of Clemson, Class of 2008

Sampson received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree (2010) from Clemson. He currently serves as Young Alumni Annual Giving officer. Young alumni giving has increased each year Sampson has held the position. He is also involved in Clemson’s chapter of the Fellowship of Christian athletes and continues to give campus tours as an ambassador.

Stephanie Sox of Columbia, Class of 2007

Sox is executive director of the South Carolina Soybean Board, representing the state’s 1,800 soybean farmers. She also serves as the Certified SC Grown Palmetto Series project manager and was selected as a 2014 National Top Ten Finalist for the American Farm Bureau Excellence in Agriculture Award. She also is a College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences alumni board member.

The Clemson Alumni Association, an open-membership, nonprofit organization since its inception in 1896, connects members of the 140,000-strong Clemson Family, inspiring pride, celebrating achievement, providing service and strengthening relationships with Clemson University and with each other.
