PICKENS COUNTY — A Marietta man was arrested Sunday morning following a child molestation investigation.

According to arrest warrants, Tony Calhoun Fulmer, 66, of 139 Lake Circle Road, was taken into custody and has been charged with second degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

Officials at the Pickens County Sheriffs Office stated Fulmer was arrested without incident in his home by deputies and is currently being held at the detention facility under a Magistrate’s “No Bond” ruling.

“On April 18, 2017, the Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into information that a child had been sexually molested on several occasions spanning 4 months from September of 2016 to January of this year,” said PCSO Chief Deputy Creed Hashe. “The investigation revealed that during the above time frame a victim over ten years of age but less than 16 years old was photographed while performing various sex acts with the 66-year-old man that was arrested earlier today.”

Hashe stated it is believed that all of the incidents occurred at the man’s residence located in the Marietta community of Pickens County.

The man and the victim are acquaintances but do not live together, Hashe said.
