For the 15th consecutive year, Easley was home to the Big League Baseball World Series at the J.B. “Red” Owens Recreation Complex, where teams from around the world competed for the title of Big League Baseball World Champions. Again this year, Baptist Easley provided a meal to the teams, this time on the final night. Members of Baptist Easley’s Administration department, including CEO Michael L. Batchelor, served the 11 teams on Aug. 4.
