CENTRAL – Students interacted with potential employers during Southern Wesleyan University’s First Annual Career Networking Event held Feb. 9 at Central.

The event was organized by Southern Wesleyan’s Career Services office and included a career fair and a networking lunch.

According to Ellen Pate, director of Career Services, approximately 90 students attended the Career Fair and 70 students and staff attended the networking lunch.

“Approximately 10 students had interviews with employers resulting in at least three job offers being extended on the spot,” Pate said.
