CLEMSON — The City of Clemson will hold its First Friday at the Market with a bevy of activity for just about any visitor no matter their age or taste.

Located at Patrick Square Village Green on Isaqueena trail in Clemson, First Friday at the Market will be open for business Sept. 2 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. with plenty to fill the three hours including free activities and shopping for local products.

Shoppers can pick up fresh fruit and produce, local honey, goat’s milk, local arts and crafts, and even farm fresh eggs.

Some of the offerings will include vendor product tastings, artists and craftsmen demonstrations, giant inflatable for the kids, and a musical performance from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. with Sorelle, a trio that will perform popular tunes from the past and present.

Not only is a visit to the Clemson Farmer’s Market one where local pantries could be stuffed from locally produced products it is also an opportunity to build the community as visitors will have an opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors, building a sense of community.
