WALHALLA — Crime Stoppers of Oconee County needs the public’s help finding a vehicle and driver involved in a hit and run accident in March 2015 in Oconee County.
The S.C. Highway Patrol has been investigating the incident, which occurred around 8:50 p.m. March 8, 2015 on S.C. 183 near its intersection with South Flagship Drive, near Keowee Key and the Oconee Nuclear Station.
According to information provided by the Highway Patrol, the vehicle at fault was traveling east on South Flagship Drive and failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle traveling south on S.C. 183, striking that vehicle in the left side. The vehicle at fault then left the scene.
The suspected vehicle is a four-door Toyota with possible damage to the left side molding toward the front. The model year of the Toyota is not known and there is some discrepancy in the color of the vehicle.
