EASLEY — Baptist Easley Hospital held a ribbon cutting for its new Fleetwood Convenient Care Center, opening a new age of care at the facility with an eye on streamlining service to patients and providing appropriate care for each individual case.

Located within the hospital, the facility will not only see patients, but direct them to the care they need based on the severity of their ailment, keeping the costs down to the patient and provider as well.

Baptist Easley CEO Michael Batchelor spoke to those in attendance April 28 and was clearly excited about the new level of care the hospital is able to provide.

“This is a great day for us. When I speak about Baptist Easley striving to be the best and you look at this facility, you know exactly what I mean,” Batchelor said. “It’s not the building facade or architecture but the people inside this building, the best people, which make that true. Without our folks here and the Foundation’s support, this would never have happened.”

Batchelor spoke on the expectation of fluidity and treatment for the new center as well.

“This new center will provide a personalized experience for the patient and will help get the patient the care they need with the department they need as well,” he said. “When you get something new it changes your perspective. Fleetwood Convenient Care will provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.”

The new facility will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Call 864-442-7165 for more information.

Members of the Baptist Easley Hospital team and board were pleased to cut the ribbon and open the doors to the new Fleetwood Convenient Care Center, designed to streamline care and help the facility appoint the appropriate care for each patient.
