CLEMSON — The Clemson City Police Department continues to investigate the collapse of a balcony that sent four people to the hospital Saturday night.
Police Chief Jimmy Dixon stated in a press release that the four people had non-life threatening injuries. They were taken to the hospital by Clemson University EMS and Pickens County EMS.
Dixon said the collapse happened around 8:30 p.m. at 218 Calhoun St. City officers arrived to find that a balcony attached to a residential structure had pulled away from the structure and collapsed.
Approximately 15 people were on the balcony at the time of the collapse.
