WILLIAMSTON — Palmetto Elementary School participated in Read for the Record Day on Oct. 22.
Students in every class enjoyed hearing this year’s book selection, Not Norman-A Goldfish Story, read aloud by their teacher, Principal Amy Cothran or Assistant Principal John Economou.
Read For the Record Day is the word’s largest shared reading experience and yet another way that Palmetto Elementary celebrates literacy for young children.
Mrs. Clardy reads to her second-grade class.
Amy Cothran, principal of Palmetto Elementary School, reads to third-graders.
Assistant Principal John Economou reads to a fourth-grade class at Palmetto Elementary School.
Mrs. Hunt’s third-grade class is shown with John Economou, assistant principal of Palmetto Elementary School.
