EASLEY — Baptist Easley Hospital unveiled a new logo on Monday together with a mission and vision that reinforce the hospital’s innovative leadership and commitment to preserve health and enhance the lives of a growing regional community of patients, residents and clients.

As part of its goal to bring the best care close to home, Baptist Easley partnered with Greenville Health System (GHS) and Palmetto Health six years ago to deliver on that goal. The partnership enhances healthcare in the Upstate in a cost-effective manner by increasing access, improving quality, and facilitating the coordination of patient care with the support of each.

Over the last six years, Baptist Easley has been diligent in aligning clinical care, goals, and outcomes with GHS. The result has been consistent care that meets the high standards of the Greenville Health System.

In addition, Baptist Easley will also be re-issuing its identification badges that include the current “heart” emblem to be re-colored with the GHS (green) and Palmetto Health (blue).

“We will continue to serve our local community with the same commitment and passion as always,” said Michael Batchelor, CEO of Baptist Easley. “In conjunction with GHS, we proudly continue to provide access to the best possible health care here in our own local community.”

The public communications campaign that began Monday will promote the new logo in print media and online advertising. An updated web site was also launched — baptisteasley.org — combining existing information from baptisteasley.org and caringisourcalling.org to describe the complete range of services provided by Baptist Easley Hospital.

Changes to signage, print and other materials will be phased in over the next year to incorporate the new logo, said Chad Carlson, manager of marketing and public relations.
