LIBERTY — Chastain Road Elementary School is recognizing students for showing outstanding care to themselves, their classmates, and their school. The school-wide classroom management plan at CRE revolves around five character traits – C (Care), O (Ownership), L (Learn), T (Teamwork), and S (Strive to Succeed).

During the first week of school, classes focused on the first character trait — Care — and one boy and one girl were chosen from each grade level as the two students who showed the most care throughout the week.

C.O.L.T.S. of the Week for the first week of school were Conner Moffitt and Kinsley Stewart (5K), Daniel Belan and Madison Emery (first grade), Caleb Pilgrim and Hannah Hooper (second grade), Shaun Kremper and Meadow Caron (third grade), Kaiden Morgan and Madison McIntosh (fourth grade), and Caleb Quarta and Maleah Balawi (fifth grade).
