EASLEY — Each winter season, United Christian Ministries provides financial help to people throughout Pickens County who cannot afford the cost of heating their homes due to an emergency, such as sudden job loss or limited resources.
You can help United Christian Ministries prepare to help those people this coming winter by participating in the 2015 UCM Feet for Heat 5K.
The event will be held at 9 a.m. Oct. 24 on the South 1st Street side of Old Market Square in Easley. Packet pick up is at 8 a.m. On-site registration can also be conducted at that time.
