ANDERSON COUNTY — Tactical Medical Solutions Inc. has been chosen as a five-year prime vendor for Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs) and their patented SOF Tactical Tourniquet Wide was approved for use across the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Participating entities under this Blanket Purchase Agreement include Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Secret Service, DHS Office of Health Affairs, and Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers.

“It is extremely gratifying to see one of our companies continue to prosper, even more so when the company shares our strong commitment to military, law enforcement and first responder personnel,” said Anderson County Councilman Tom Allen. “Tactical Medical Solutions, a grass-roots business, began when two local entrepreneurs focused their military and medical expertise toward creating and perfecting products that save lives.”

“DHS choosing Tacmed, as a Individual First Aid Kit supplier, and approving our flagship product, the SOF Tactical Tourniquet for agency use, is a testament of the dedication of all the men and women in law enforcement who are progressing safety and protecting lives of others, while protecting our country,” said Ross Johnson, CEO of Tactical Medical Solutions Inc.
